Our team
Eld Energy is built by people who have spent their careers where energy meets the sea. Together, our team brings more than 300 years of combined industrial experience from marine and oil and gas companies in Bergen, a city that has supplied the world's shipping and offshore industries for generations.
Our competence rests on 30 years of research and development in fuel cells. That experience has taught us not only how to build SOFC systems, but how to run and operate them over time.
We design for reality offshore. Our systems are purpose-built for rough marine conditions, and our edge lies in developing marine and offshore products in close cooperation with class societies.
Our mission
Our mission is to decarbonize the hard-to-abate offshore industries.
Electrifying large power consumers, such as oil & gas installations and large oceangoing ships, is costly or nearly impossible with existing technologies due to the high energy demands and the limitations of current infrastructure
By leveraging our extensive experience in the maritime and oil & gas industries, our systems are purpose built to withstand harsh marine conditions on offshore installations and deep-sea vessels
